JOB PURPOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Operations Design & Development Manager is responsible for leading and delivering white-space projects across their full lifecycle\u2014from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure\u2014while ensuring technical excellence, operational readiness, and seamless customer technical onboarding. This role acts as the central point of coordination for project teams, collaborating closely with cross-functional departments, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. In addition, the role supports the sales process by developing technical solutions, designing white-space layouts, and providing expert guidance to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into viable, compliant, and operationally aligned solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Project Exceutation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Oversee project execution to ensure quality standards and deliverables are met<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure on time delivery<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Manage stakeholders and maintain clear communication across all project phases<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Monitor project budget, control costs, and ensure financial compliance<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactively<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sales Engagement & Customer Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Understand customer requirements and take responsibility for the overall solution presented to the business and customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Work closely with Account Managers to produce comprehensive solutions, including layouts and costs, for sales opportunities. Considering timing, site location, and product sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Collaborate closely with Operations, Design and Construction, and other departments to build comprehensive technical solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Support the technical classification of opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Work with Bid Management and Sales to develop solutions that meet both customer requirements and AtlasEdge business needs and respond to RFP (Request for Proposal), ensuring timely replies<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Manage technical items and questions during face-to-face meetings or calls with customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Deliver clear explanations of AtlasEdge’s product portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Comprehend clients‘ operational business needs, including factors shaping their business and<\/p>\n\n\n\n challenges they face, to ensure AtlasEdge effectively meets those needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Site Expertise and Operational Collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Develop expert understanding of AtlasEdge sites, including capacity (space and power).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Appreciate how a given site can further develop or expand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Ensure operational teams agree on all proposed solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Maintain high-level knowledge of upcoming sites in the AtlasEdge portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Proficiency in Software:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Using tools for planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Visio<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 AutoCAD<\/p>\n\n\n\n Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, Information Technology, electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Proven experience (5years) in managing Data Centers\u2019 projects, demonstrating increasing responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Strong understanding of project management methodologies<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Experience with project management software and tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Experience in customer-oriented roles<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Very good written and spoken German and English<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Coordinate internal meetings with key stakeholders to address operational\/service issues, gain buy-in for solutions, and work collaboratively to resolve problems promptly. Escalate to the Service Design Senior Manager and\/or VP, Client Services when necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Identify compliances and deviations in customer requirements against current AtlasEdge product offerings.
