AtlasEdge, a leading pan-European data centre provider, is enhancing its leadership team with the addition of Jonathan Hoo as Chief Financial Officer, effective today.
Based in London, Jonathan Hoo joins AtlasEdge from a senior position at a highly respected operator. He brings with him a wealth of experience from his prior roles, including Deputy CFO at Eurofins, Group Finance Director at IWG plc, and leadership positions at Equinix and TelecityGroup.
This announcement comes on the heels of two significant leadership additions at AtlasEdge. In June, Tesh Durvasula, a veteran in the digital infrastructure and data centre industry and former CEO of both Africa Data Centres and CyrusOne, joined as CEO. Durvasula has an extensive background in leadership and value-creation roles, known for his ability to build highly respected teams. Additionally, Robbie Mcghie has taken on the role of Chief Delivery Officer, where he is responsible for overseeing design, construction, and operations.
“One of my first initiatives here at AtlasEdge has been to further bolster the already outstanding team as we prepare for our next phase of growth. I am delighted to welcome Jonathan, whose deep expertise in results-based financial strategy within the digital infrastructure industry will be instrumental in driving our continued success.” Tesh Durvasula, CEO, AtlasEdge
“I’m thrilled to join AtlasEdge at this pivotal moment. The company’s vision for expanding its European presence is both inspiring and ambitious. I’m eager to collaborate with the team to craft financial strategies that will not only support our bold growth plans but also position us to seize the vast opportunities emerging in this dynamic market.” Jonathan Hoo, Chief Financial Officer, AtlasEdge
This announcement follows AtlasEdge’s strategic expansion into the Portuguese market with the acquisition of two adjacent data centres in Lisbon earlier this year. Additionally, AtlasEdge recently acquired a site to build a second data centre in Barcelona that will support a key growth market driven by new subsea cable developments.
